Replacing body molding on my 97.

im trying to replace my body molding? any suggestions? i was told that i can find some on ebay and amazon. has anybody actually boughten and how close is it to the oem molding. and can you fit the 1500 emblem that sits on top of the molding. please send link from where you purchased molding. thanks

I have not seen anyone replace there moldings, mainly due to the cost. Some I have seen, that even the OEM, sometimes don't quite match up. Seems they changed the trim slightly and the replacements are normally one generic one that they sell for all years.

Last timne I did one for some one, we found the trim that match from LMC Truck for the best price. We replaced all trim though so there was no issues on matching it with the original. Quality was good, but it was expensive in my opinion.
