72 c110 rear disc conversion
Hello I just converted my rear breaks to disc and my rim won't clear the caliper.
72 c10 5 lug I was using a set of keystone,s with 275 60 15 tires. Can anyone recommend a rim that would work that would take those size tires and clear the caliper? Or has anyone done the conversion that might b able to point mee in the right direction? Thanks |

How close are the rims? Perhaps you can use a thin wheel spacer?guess it depends on just how close they are.

The mounting surface of the wheel is about 1/4"from the factory wheel studs when it hits the caliper.

A wheel spacer might be a more cost effective solution. But hey we all love new rims too!

Chevy ralley's should fit.
The wheels what ever you buy cant have a taper. They need to be straight.

Re: 72 c110 rear disc conversion
Looks like the CCP brakes. Have fun with them. The park brake is really fun to get right. I have this kit on mine. After 4 days in the shop working on it I got it to work pretty good. After about a year it works OK.
Not a big fan of them. Checkout the link. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=572063&page=2
