Will a BBC starter fit an LS3?

I have a nice gear reduction starter on the outgoing ZZ502 and no starter included (surprised) on the eRod LS3. Will it transfer over?

I'm thinking it will, as the LS1 and small block supposedly interchange, but have no idea whatsoever.

Re: Will a BBC starter fit an LS3?

Now I'm seeing a lot of ads that say "Except LS", so I'm not sure. I guess I could just try it! But if anyone know for sure, that'd be easier.

I'm going to venture a guess and say no. BUT, I've never tried it.....
