custom

anyone have any pics of 73-87 trucks with different beds like a newer one or custom dually's mainly single cabs, im fixing to buy a 80 dually flatbed and i want to drop it on rims and put a bed on it just wondering my bed coices. any pics would be great.

It's not a single cab, but it has a newer bed on it. Not sure what year on the bed though.

88-98 bed, and personally, i just dont think it looks right.

I was asking this awhile back and got blasted for it. I see why now. That is hideous! Hope I don't offend anybody, just not my style.

Well first off, lets welcome you to the forum. We are always glad to have a new guy on here.

As you can see from the pic posted, the 88-98 style bed just doesn't quit work with a 81-91 style one ton. Although the 80 model you are looking at has the earlier 73-80 rounded line front fenders, the doors still look the same.

I would say find a long bed single wheel donor, and chuck the flat bed, and duals...
