Floorboard question

I have fixed minor rust spots before but am trying to figure out or ideas how I can fix this. I am decent welder. It's a 70 custom c10. I wouldnt have a problem if it was just in the middle of the floorboard but since it also affects the door frame am not sure. Thanks

Re: Floorboard question

Looks like you will be into a partial floor pan replacement / inner sil extension and rocker. What does the cab support under the floor look like? This photo is of a suburban but the concept is the same. If the cab support is gone you can purchase replacement pieces which can be welded in. All of the sheet metal parts can be purchased , just measure carefully before you cut. I did my suburban with the frame off and on a rotissary which made it a lot easier to work on. Good luck !

Re: Floorboard question

the cab supports look pretty good actually. Gonna have to research the parts and see if it's worth it
