Buying New Bedsides on the Westcoast
I'm looking for a good company to purchase new short bedsides from for my LWB to SWB conversion. All of the companies/vendors that seem to be popular on the forum are mostly on the opposite side of the county. I did contact one vendor and it was about $1k just for shipping (including other smaller parts). So far I can find that Summit can get me AMD panels with free shipping or I can pick them up after a moderate drive. Also Classic Industires (unknown manufacturer) is a few hours drive. Are there any forum vendors local to the Westcoast or can anyone recommend a vendor for the parts?

Re: Buying New Bedsides on the Westcoast
Brothers in Corona and the truck shop in Orange carry bedsides.

LMC offers free shipping if you spend over 1,000. Good luck!

Re: Buying New Bedsides on the Westcoast
From what I've been seeing there are good and bad runs from a lot of the companies. I was hoping to buy from a vendor of the site but that might not be an option.

I am wondering the same thing and I'm in okc. It has nothing to do with location, or trust with a vendor but how well the Sheetmetal is stamped/fits.

Re: Buying New Bedsides on the Westcoast
I've bought 4 or 5 sets of the Goodmark bed sides and have not really had any issues. The 67 stampings are better than the 68-72s. It's simple 67 is one year and 68-72 is 5 years so they make lots more of the 68-72s. Therefore the stampiings get used more.
My vendor charges me about $50 more per side for the 67s too. If you can find 68-72 Goodmark bedsides buy them. My vendor says they are back ordered for a couple weeks. Especially the left side. Hope this helps. Here's the last one I did, a cheap 68' shorty. It's in the for sale area here too.

Re: Buying New Bedsides on the Westcoast
Well I email Classic Industries to see what manufacturer they sell for bedsides and this is what I got.
"Hello and thank you for contacting Classic Industries. Checking in on the product numbers provided it actually does not tell me who the manufacture is, if a manufacture is not listed on any item we don’t have the information to disclose I am terribly sorry." Probably not going to purchase from them.
