8 lug power steering and brakes?
Backstory. I have a stab at a 72 c20 chassis with power steering and power brake. But i have 68 c10 manual brakes and manual steering
So 6 lug and 8 lug obviously cant use the disks or rear. Can u use the spindles? The power steering relay rod, steering box, and pitman arm? How about the brake booster Just curious what is transferable? |

Brake booster Yes, the spindles NO. The steering box is a yes as well as the steering stuff but none of the brake stuff except the booster and master cylinder.

Tie rod end/ball-joints out, no. Everything else is yes. The booster is different, stronger, but can be used with proper proportioning.

Re: 8 lug power steering and brakes?
The 68 is drum/drum. The 72 has front disc, so the proportioning valve would be different.
