8 lug power steering and brakes?

Backstory. I have a stab at a 72 c20 chassis with power steering and power brake. But i have 68 c10 manual brakes and manual steering
So 6 lug and 8 lug obviously cant use the disks or rear. Can u use the spindles? The power steering relay rod, steering box, and pitman arm? How about the brake booster

Just curious what is transferable?

Brake booster Yes, the spindles NO. The steering box is a yes as well as the steering stuff but none of the brake stuff except the booster and master cylinder.

Tie rod end/ball-joints out, no. Everything else is yes. The booster is different, stronger, but can be used with proper proportioning.

Re: 8 lug power steering and brakes?

The 68 is drum/drum. The 72 has front disc, so the proportioning valve would be different.
