Went for a nice little drive to look at a 72K20 burb
A coworker said he saw a 67-72 suburban for sale about 70 miles from town. With that info, I loaded my dog, quinn, up in the 1970 Shortbox I recently bought from my brother. Needless to say, 140 miles later I made it home without a single hiccup. The burb was a little rough, but an all original 72 k20 custom deluxe. 350 auto. Air conditioning. No spin rear end. Would that be 4.10 gears since there wasn't a gear ratio on the spid? I'm sorry for not taking any pictures along the way, but I did snag one when I got back

your luck is better than mine. I just drove 700 mile round trip to Harlingen Texas. went to look at a green 69 swb. don't anybody else waste your time on this one. it is on craigslist. it was a pretty nice truck till I looked at the vin tag. it was a homemade vin tag.wasted the whole day on this one.

I believe it would have 4:10 ratio. That's if my memory is working correctly today....

The above is correct. if no call out on the spid, I believe it technically depends on the rear it has. If a Dana 60 it should be 4:10, If Eaton 4:11. That's how I remember it anyway.

I once drove 1400 miles round trip to see a girl that ended up being a big head ache! But it wasn't all bad: the drive was fun, I bought two guns along the way when I stopped by Aimsurplus (planned it that way), and the girl was a good kisser. |
