I just got some rancho 9000 shocks from summit and they came unstrapped all of the shocks I have delt with have been strapped to hold them together
also they do not rebound on their own is this normal ? a bit confused

Yep, I'm running the 9000's as well and they do not come strapped. They are not a "gas pressurized" shock and do not rebound on their own.

now that I have that electric vacuume pump working, and I have brakes I need to keep the front end from diving
