I have been looking at this dash from No Limit, But it doesn't have a price on their website, What did the aluminum dash piece cost ??

The way you've set yours up is very close to what I thought about doing.. Nice job !

it was 179 fully polished, it came with the leds for turn signals and one for the brights. It also has all the hardware to mount your gauges. I didnt have a catalog either and called them, they sent one for free.

I like how it is different, in that it is polished, and that the gauges are in different configuration than stock.

Nice

I have been seriously looking at this panel too, just need to save the money up for it. Got the catalog right in front of me and I have some answers to your questions:

FRENCHBLUE72 & jef5150 - I'm pretty sure the gauges mount directly to the panel with bracket that come with either the panel or the gauges. Not sure about the thickness because it doesn't say, but I thought I read somewhere else that it was 3/8"?

RON WOODGEARD - Yes they have a brushed aluminum one, and yes they have a complete glove box door (replaces your stock one completely) at the same price ($169 brushed, $179 polished).

imaindianoutlaw - how it mounts to dash? Good question, I didn't think of that, it doesn't say in here. Stacey put one on project Copperhead, but I can't remember if he said how. Maybe send him or No Limit an email and ask them.

Hope this helps some of you.

its made from t6 aluminum, 3/8 thick. It has studs on the back of it to mount in the stock holes for the original panel.you do have to cut the raised areas of the dash so it fits flush. if any one needs any more info ill help out the best i can.

I still love that panel. I saw this turned panel at a show this weekend. The wanted like 170 for just the panel. Its glued on top of the stock panel, and the display unit was startin to peel away .

What about the wiring harness? Does it connect easily? Like plug and play?

Thats pretty Sweet! I got the idea of skinning a glovebox door to use as a panel from this board. Someone posted pic's of a purple blazer that had this done.

I bought the Autometer Carbon Fibers to go into it.

As far as the wiring, Painless makes a universal harness that will fit perfectly to those autometers. it's like $50 or so. Easier than pie!

instrument lense comment/question

I have a plastic guy making ,writing a program for his laser machine, to make lenses in different colors. What do you guys think of that idea? I thought you could almost match the interior color of your truck to the lense and/or change the color of the bulbs to match. Still in the beginning stages of this idea.
