Question Headers, Catalytic Cnverter & Muffler

Hey guys, I have a 1987 Chevy SWB with 350 TBI and all the smog and emissions stuff. I am about to install headers, catalytic converter, & muffler. I want to use the shorty style headers. I was wondering if anyone can provide with suggestions on which style shorty headers he or she recommends, which performance catalytic converter, and which muffler. I want a damn good sounding muffler. And if at all possible please supply the part numbers. Thanks Guys and have a good one!!!

What do you mean by "damn good sounding"? Loud? Hollow sounding? Quiet at idle?

I guess something that is not too loud but a good deep tone sound. Yeah and quiet at idle. I just want to see what choices you guys made and the satisfaction. I know a lot of people run the flowmaster 40 series if I am not mistaken. I just want to see what else is out there.. Sorry about that I should have been a little more specific. Thanks....

Best out there are the Aerochambers. They are like a Borla and a Flowmaster crossed and best flowing out there. Loudness depends on your engine setup, where the pipe exits at (under the truck, out the back etc.). The Flowmasters 50 series is a good low rumble at idle (quieter than the 40 series) and sounds good when you get on it. On the cat you might ask Swervin what brand he got. I know he spent some $$$ but it was a good brand and high flow but still good for the sniffer testing.
