carburetor to fuel pump line

This line came from LMC as a 63-66 6cyl fuel line but it does not seem to end in the proper place. The truck is a 66 C20 and the motor is a 70s 250 but I thought they where all the same. Did I order the wrong one or did they send the wrong one?
PN is 32-3477 btw

Re: carburetor to fuel pump line

if it is some what close it may just be a matter of re bending the line. I installed SS brake lines made for my 66' - they were not even close to being right, had to do a lot of bending on them.

Re: carburetor to fuel pump line

Pump end looks almost like V8 this may help some http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=454834 although different on carb end

That line might fit this style of pump http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=583543

A few photos of '66 I6 292 engine fuel line routing. May help you see how a 250 could have been plumbed, with its different fuel pump location.

Same thing just happened to me. Ordered brake line that goes along rear axle and it was not close, anywhere. Proper part number, too. I just bent the lines to fit.

Re: carburetor to fuel pump line

The hard line that you bought is made for the other style fuel pump that has the inlet and outlet ports on the side of the pump. Both style pumps will work on your block so it may be easier to get the pump that will work with your line, instead of trying to return the line. Pumps are cheap

Re: carburetor to fuel pump line

These trucks used so many different combo of parts it is hard to buy a pre bent line that will work.
