67-72 On a Modern Chassis?

Hey guys!

My '71 is 2wd which isn't ideal in Colorado, I've though about doing an LS swap, but has anyone put one of these truck bodies on a modern drivetrain? Say a 99-07' chevy truck? Seems like a good use for a rolled newer truck for say $2k. Don't get me wrong I love the old tech but upgrading to fuel injection, better ride, sway bars, 4wd, cruise control all in one shot sounds really neat, and probably cheaper then doing it in pieces around what I have

About 4 pages back look for Freemoto's 72c10 on Tahoe 4wd chassis. It's a lot of work but his came out look great.
