Question Vacuum help

I have a 70 c10 with original 250 straight 6. Installed the new painless harness but cant figure out how this vacuum thing is hooked up. It has 2 wires a black and green. Any advice?

Transmission controlled spark advance soleniod.
Read up on pages 6T-1 & 2 in the factory 70 chassis service manual. RTFM
Doubt you painless harness supports it, but the manual does have the simplified operational schematic on the noted page 2. The full factory schematic is on page 12-31.

thanks now to figure out how to wire it. lol I had a (so called mechanic) install the harness and he never finished so now I'm trying to get it going and have no idea where some of these go.

Is your TCS operable? If not I would just leave it unhooked or remove it completely.

If i put power to the green and ground the black i hear it click. Other than that I don't know how to test it. Thanks
