The Clydesdale
A friend of mine turned me on to this Saddle-d colored beauty.....This is what it looked like after I cleaned up a bit.

Bruce, other than what you can see, its a V8..... the stock 283 what I've been told with the grannie transmission, no power steering or brakes, I really love the saddle color against the tinted glass, I found the ashtray under the seat. More pic's

Bad ass long bed buddy! Cleaning up the wiring under that dash will be fun I had to do the same when I first got mine... I have a long bed as well, it grew on me, it came in handy when I was moving and hauling parts.

Looking at the pics again, I don't think I've ever seen a step bumper like that before. That is, straight across with no recess for a hitch. It does look period correct, though. I kinda like it even though it looks like the gate suffered a bit due to that add-on hitch ball.

I was just getting ready to congratulate you on the great new find Rene! And there it goes... Ha. Was nice while it lasted, but am sure there's something coming soon to fill the space it was taking up. That was a nice looking lwb. Saddle probably my favorite color for this era truck.
