Interior wood trim, matching pieces

Anyone have good recommendations for replacement door panel, glovebox, and gauge cluster wood trim pieces? I'm afraid I'll buy parts are they all look slightly different making them all look wrong. Looking for good matches.

Seems like one of the companies would make a complete set. I'd think there would be a market for that.

Re: Interior wood trim, matching pieces

Gary Terry is the only reliable source I've found for the dash/glovebox woodgrain pieces. He sells the real deal, not the flimsy sticker knockoffs. As for matching door panels, even GM didn't match them, they were a certain type of material and it was different from the thin the dash pieces. Gary has been on here, but he's most easily contacted on ebay at csm1986. He currently has some beautiful Cheyenne/Cheyenne Super door panels and a repro glovebox woodgrain and aluminum tray listed for sale. http://www.ebay.com/sch/csm1986/m.ht...88.m1543.l2654 I've purchased from him before, his stuff is of the highest quality in my experience.

Thanks. I was wondering whether the doors were different. It seemed to me the door look lighter almost always. Thought it was just bad knock-offs, but could be original. In general, is the dash wood darker than the doors?

No, I would not say that the dash is generally darker than the doors. Have not seen that - they're just a little different, that's all.

No current 3M di noc patterns 100% match up to the old patterns. I have only found old rolls that match to the "T".

Re: Interior wood trim, matching pieces

Jerry Brown at The Truck Shop in Crosssville Tn has very accurate wood grain door panel inserts. He's a stickler for details and went to great lengths to find a place that could do them correctly.

Did a web search for them, but didn't see them in online catalog.

Re: Interior wood trim, matching pieces

You'll need to call, Jerry is an older gentleman and doesn't do much web stuff. I visited the shop a few years back we discussed his wood grain inserts, I bought some super clean originals from him while I was there.

Re: Interior wood trim, matching pieces

Thanks. I wish I could afford nice originals. Not in this budget.
