I'm waiting for one from American Classics, they take FOREVER to ship. Cheapest I was able to find that wasn't a plastic tank. Always had good luck with their stuff. I can let you know when it get here if it worth it or not.

Re: Any sales coming up on a Boyd's gas tank ?
So, the fuel tank I ordered from Classic Chevy Parts arrived a few days ago. Looks well constructed, right at 45 pounds. Good welds and baffled to keep fuel from sloshing around I hope. No sending unit was included, I have one from the gauge purchase, so that is not an issue for me. $350 plus $40 shipping to North Carolina not too bad.
My garage has been taken over as storage for a kitchen remodel (YIPPEE!!) so I havent tried to place it yet. A few pics... I know you guys love pictures. |
