Nice truck for sure but I'd say it has been cleaned up.

Also on a thread I have running some have considered that much arm wear on the door unlikely for a 62K truck.

Real nice truck. I'd be surprised if anyone bids on it though with such a high starting bid of 9500.00.

Nice truck! If it wasn't on the wrong coast I'd go look at it.

Re: super nice 67 gmc camper cruiser

Eau muy gawd that truck is noice!! I'd say she's genuine through and through. It's this type of truck that has been my main thing throughout my interest in the series. The camper haulers are a great segment of truck's use to look for. In old trucks, some look for fire trucks because they are highly maintained, kept clean, and stored inside. Then there are the farm use trucks, such as grain haulers or even the pickup, that get only annual use/then stored in machine shed or only driven local and no freeway use. But camper haulers are the pet truck that was possibly only used for the camper which rarely left the bed and often stored under shelter. No winter driving, unless it's to warmer weather. And mechanics kept up (easily) on the ride that travels far from home when in use. It's cool to find the loved and cherished SWB BBC Cheyenne Super, but how rare is that?

I can only speak from experience, but I think this truck is the real deal. Factor in, during those fewer miles were many all day long drives spent with the acids in body oils soaking into that paint softening it. How many other than camper light trucks spent their life making mostly all day long drives? I had '70 CST/30 Custom Camper BBC 157" former Winnebago hauler with 60 some thousand miles and it had doors that looked like that. And, I have bought many camper haulers, usually in the 50-70k range of miles, and the overall conditions were in line with this wonderful find I wish I could pounce on. I've seen a lot more paid for a lot less.

Re: super nice 67 gmc camper cruiser

While it would be coolest to search and search till original wheels and hubcaps are found that are worthy of such a truck, I can appreciate the era-correct look of the wagon wheels. Chrome would be better. Aluminum slots would be awesome for the era look and to stand it out. But, being of this era myself, I can appreciate the right look the spokes give it. IMO they look better on there than any modern aftermarket wheels

I can't eloquently sum up how cool I think the interior and engine compartment of that truck is compared to 99% of non-stock arrangments I've seen. Just yes. :O

Simply outstanding. There's even a period correct navigation system on the windshield. No reserve auction too.

Re: super nice 67 gmc camper cruiser

No bids??? This is truly divine intervention. I (or you) have been given second chance to get our tail down to the local pawn/check cashing/loan joint to make a deal with the loan shark that will have us paying interest for the rest of our lives. But... ONE OF US WOULD HAVE THIS TRUCK!!! (wanna go halvesies)

Even paying for a transport from coast to coast would be worth it on that truck.I can't believe it didn't sell on the first listing. Someone needs to go check it out.....

I was thinking more like we'd get it a classic camper and take turns flying and driving one way or both or drive then fly or meet in the middle or whatever, so yeah, that'll work

I agree. Original clip wheels and caps would be going back on that one for that '67 dealership lot look. IMO, those wagon wheels were not put on there for a styling statement, they were put on as a replacement for the original lock ring wheels. Either the owner wanted to change or the local tire shop talked the owner into the change. Another thing I would consider is to change the gears to 3.54. The torque of the 351 can easily handle the higher gears. In '68, GMC finally offered the 3.54 gears with the 351, but in '67 you were stuck with a 4.10 or 4.56

The chrome west coast mirrors are period aftermarket. The small one is factory. This is the way you'll see most pre '70 GM pickups that hauled campers because large mirrors did not automatically come with the package. The original owner was to order up specific options separately.

OK-book the flights and we can get this going. Sounds like an excellent adventure to me.....
