new a/c clutch airgap not even after install

Hi all, I have a 71' with 402ci with factory a/c. when I bought the truck the ac clutch was bad, So I bought a new one and installed it, but I cant get the clutch air gap equally spaced. I have to have one side really close so the far side is with in specs. anyone else ever have this problem. Its working but the close side might be too close. I might pull it all off again and return it and try another. what do you think. thanks

The clutch plate must be warped a little. If it is not rubbing when its off & works good, I would leave it alone.
