Factory steering wheel on after market tilt column, HELP!

I want to run my factory steering wheel on an after market tilt column. Does anyone make an adapter? Has anyone figured out a trick for this? Thank you.

It depends on which column you're going to use. The Ididit retro tilt column for the mid-year GM trucks use the same spline as the GM steering wheels. I'm running an Ididit tilt column with the original steering wheel.

Factory wheel should bolt up fine, but the horn connections, turn-signal canceling cam is not going to function correctly due to the big configuration differences.

Thank you. So what are you all doing for a horn? Is it on the floor?

On mine, I pulled the 64's one piece shaft and column and replaced it with one from a 69 C10. The 69 innards (probably like your tilt) matches to the more modern wheels and horn, etc. I used a era-looking model Comfort-grip wheel used on a lot of 67-68ish Camaros.

You can see it in my build thread.

I still have mine connected because of a bad horn kit, but I have a horn button on the dash under the headlight wiper switches. You can get them in most autoparts in the general accessories section.
