shims
I have my truck tore down and am soon to replace or rebuild everything on the steering and suspension except the steering box and ragjoint. my question is both upper control arm shafts had multiple shims from previous alignments . do I replace the shims as they were removed or assemble without shims and go straight to the alignment
 shop . thanks ,Kenny .

I just finished doing the same to mine. I put the shims back the way they were and then went straight to the alignment shop. They took them all out and started from ground zero so, If I were to do it again, I would leave them out.
