Where is a good place to tap in for gauge light
Is splicing into the headlight switch a good source?I would like to able to see my temp gauge at night.

if you want it to dim/bright the same as your other gauges use the grey wire off the fuse panel
it is the same wire that feeds all the other gauge lights (follow the 16-gy wire from the instr panel bulbs) this will give you a fused dimable light, hooking direct to the headlight switch will not be fused
