Steering column

I'm about to order a steering column for my 65 and I'm confused. Looking at Ididit columns on Summit. I typed in the year make model. It showed me some for $607 on up.I tried looking another way just under Ididit 33" column shift and found some for $509. I could't see a difference in them. Both said gm connections and everything. What am I missing here? I have read enough to know to stay away form the Chinese plastic bearing ones. Has anyone installed just the regular 33" one and had major trouble?

Re: Steering column

If it is not year specific it will not have the threaded bolt holes in the outer tube that holds it to the bracket under the dash. I have seen people make there own holes.
