Want to lift a 62, is it possible?

In order to lift my 62 c10 do I need to do a frame swap, or can I manage to do it an easier way? I know I can just max out my torsion bars in the front but I want it a bit higher than their max point. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Swap ball joints and get lift spindles from Fab tech or the like. Up grade will get disks as well. Box lower arms for strength.

Anyway you could send a link to where I can find these, to be completely honest I'm pretty clueless when it comes to suspension parts.

Re: Want to lift a 62, is it possible?

I think a change to at least a '63-'70 suspension or preferably a '71-'87 suspension will be needed first. Then get the lift spindles and whatever else is needed.

However in looking at FabTech's website I do not see any spindles offered for a Chevy/GMC earlier than '88. So you might be left with finding a used set.
