Spare Tire Fender With 5 Bolt Wheel
I am doing the conversion on my truck to the 5x5 front and rear ends bolt pattern, but have the spare tire carrier step side. Has anyone either modified it to accept a 5 bolt wheel, or do you just use an adapter in case you need to mount the 6 bolt spare to the 5 bolts?

Re: Spare Tire Fender With 5 Bolt Wheel
this is how i adapted my 6 to 5 lug fender mount
since the stock spare was 5'' wide and i'm running 255/15/r70 on a 8'' wide rim, i had to move the spare out 1/2'' i also adjusted the bolt pattern down to fit the cutout in the fender (centered in the arc) i made this adapter out of 1/2'' plate, this is the first fitting, i did more trimming studs are stock, i cut them off and plug welded them; holes are new pattern, i used grade 5 bolts for new studs i also smoothed the seam inside
