shift selector
I just got a 700 trans for my '69 c10 installed. Had 3speed auto in it. Now, of course, the shift selector is outta whack,,,LOL. Question is,,,can I get another selector for the column with the right numbers on it and will it fit. I've found the selector housing and indicator online. Anyone else done this? Thanks, Bill

Re: shift selector
Did it for my 4L80E and tweaked the linkage such that everything lines up. Mine is a tilt, though, and for some reason the lenses seem easier to find for tilt than non-tilt.
But yes, if you can find a lens, swap it out and you're most of the way there.

Re: shift selector
Thanks for the info,,,,order the two pieces off line...we'll see when they get here. The 700 tranny is great,,,should help on the gas mileage too.

Re: shift selector
They make them for the tilt wheels, I had to make my own, of course, now that I bought a Van tilt, I don't need this one any more. If you look at my build pics, you can see how I made one.....
