small window to big window?
So I'm wondering if there is a way to make the back window bigger. I have the small window, But I am just curious if it could be done.

Yeah, there are a few people on here that have done the swap. If you do a search you'll likely find a few threads. I think they generally find a donor with a big back window that's otherwise in poor shape to hack up and weld in.

Re: small window to big window?
Jim - how much of a pain was it? Looks like a pretty involved procedure, but the instructions are pretty straightforward. The interior is the area I was most concerned with looking original. Any impressions on the install would be appreciated.

Re: small window to big window?
Scott's big window conversion piece is pretty straightforward... cut, weld, grind. As long as you read the instructions and don't rush it... it is pretty much a simple operation.

Re: small window to big window?
By using a BBW inner panel cut from a donor cab, its possible to do the swap without any visible paint damage. The only welding required would be around the window opening and down each side in the door jamb, then glue the top seam and bottom spot weld area with panel adhesive. The welds are covered by the window seal and door weatherstrips. I love my big window!

I went to Scott's eBay store and did not see the kit. @Daddyoh and @corvettejim where did you order the kit from? I must be missing it..

Re: small window to big window?
You can use the form on his web site or, better yet, use the email that is posted above this post... I don't have his number handy but he will get back to you quickly...
