EGR Delete

My 2001 5.3 has an EGR set up which connects to the passenger side exhaust manifold. Can this be deleted? I want to change manifolds to F body or headers.

Engine will be swapped into my '65 C10.

Re: EGR Delete

Yes, just needs to be turned off in the tune to not throw codes. Most tuners will do that in the "basic" tunes to get rid of VATS and emissions.
