Does anyone sell it?
I'm installing a hidden handle on my tailgate, and need to fill in the hole on the exterior. Does anyone sell a pre-bent filler piece for it? or am I going to have to fab one? A Google search brings up alot of them, but not for our year trucks. Advice welcome!

Thanks for the link! That's the kit that I have to move the handle to the inside of the tailgate, but I was wondering if anyone made a plate to fill the hole on the outside of the tailgate where the handle originally was?

I do not think anyone makes a plate to fill that spot, I ended up cutting a piece out of a junk tailgate.

+2 on the tailgate donor chunk; You'll have identical aged & gauge steel, with the right curve to it.
Bummer part is finding a donor tailgate, but the good news is you could probably get 4 patch panels out of it, and sell some to other folks. |
