Price check

KNow a guy who has an original double cab long box 1 tonner ( something like 20 feet long altogether) . MAde by an aftermarket company ( as I gues they all were then ). 17 inch 8 bolt rims 327 ( runs ) turbo 400 . Supposedly the back seat has never been sat in Have seen the truck but not up close . He just has it stored . Guess he has some extra parts also . I know these things must be pretty scarce What would a reasonable price be if it's not too beat. DOn't want to offer too much but don't want to insult him either . Also I mostly wanted for the 327 to put in my 71 but it's original engine to the truck
How many feel it makes any difference to have original engine particularly in a weird special edition thingy like this . If I got it it would probably be in storgae for quite a while so thought I could get some use out of the engine in the mean time .
George

He also has a 1966 camper insert for it .Haven't seen that at all Any value ?

Smile

It would probably help if you had pictures to show the condition.
It is probably rare but I am not sure if it is worth a lot. Can't you get him to give you a price?

In my humble opinion, an original engine to the manufactured truck is only important to a show quality restoration truck. The vintage engines correct for the 67-72 happen to be very good engines so that may be a marketable point. Other then that, any good SBC or BBC is ok with me. My .02
