Bagged long beds,??? pics, links,???

can I get a few examples of bagged LWB trucks. I'm about ready to take the plunge,I finally rode in one recently and am impressed.I'm pretty well sold on the stage 1 front and rear kits with drop spindles and C notch kit for my 72. Member MattPSU on the board here has a very nice picture and write up for his SWB build for "Crocodile Rocks" http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=503469. Still undecided for wheel and tire sizes yet, so for now stock steelies and 235/75/15s will do.Please "post em up"!I still use my truck as a daily driver/light duty work truck, "Harley Hauler".I also tow a small 14' utility trailer and a 18' dbl axle camper

I could come up with nice looking lowered longbed pictures, but nothing obviously bagged sitting stupid low. I'll pull them up if that helps.

Re: Bagged long beds,??? pics, links,???

Kind of a bare bones bag job to put a toe in the water before taking a plunge. 2.5" drop spindles, front and rear shock relocators, track bar, sway bars, Schrader fill kit, blah blah blah. No notch because I tow and haul. And because $,$$$!

Top of the front fender lip in this picture is around 30", rear is 1.5" or so higher. Tires are 255/70/15.

Drives great, rides great, tows and hauls great. But two things that become readily apparent at this ride height are: #1) stock rear wheels need a spacer to fill the wheel well, and #2) the front and rear axle centers are not centered in their respective openings. Solutions obviously exist for both...

Re: Bagged long beds,??? pics, links,???

Thank you all for the pics and details. I'm not looking to "lay frame" or go to the point where it's basically on the ground. bMr, yours is very close to the look I'm shooting for. member "Hottrucks" on here has a build thread called Sunshine Syndicate "Cheap Build" that I really like. and judging from the pics in the build thread, his 70 lwb still hauled and towed. I'm not as good at fab work as he is tho so I am going more for a "kit in a box" style. I considering copying his method for notching the frame, if i decide to go that far. I'm still undecided as for how modified i want to go. I am sure that I want to do air-ride suspension, and drop spindles, track bar, and shock re-locators. My truck has factory sway bars, so I'm going to re-use them with new bushings. I'm open to any and all suggestions. Any more pics, please,"post em up".

Bagged in the back, 2 1/2" coils and 2" drop spindles. Gotta avoid and speed bumps.
