UT Updated Wanted List: 72 part and misc Jimmy/Blazer items

Looking for all of the following. This is an updated list and I will continue to update as I gather the appropriate parts and dig into my rig.

All of this is for a 1972 GMC Jimmy which has a mix of blazer parts on it as well. The blazer parts are all going to be for sale at a later date.

Last update on 10/11/16.


Willing to pay fair shipping charges.

Looking for OEM parts here before I go aftermarket. Driver quality is sufficient, not for a show rig.

Although I may list a year, if other years or if the Chevy equivalent is applicable I'm more than open to all equivalent parts.

From the front end:
72 GMC Jimmy fender emblems


Other body parts:
Jimmy/Blazer door window frame top caps to finish to the hardtop
72 GMC rear tailgate (embossed GMC lettering) in good to great shape. Have a chevy one to swap if interested.
Windshield frame patch panel for Jimmy/Blazer. Upper section + a few inches down would suffice. REALLY NEED ONE OF THESE SOON FOR BODYWORK



Interior parts, parchment color wanted
72 Jimmy/Blazer interior door panels w/ integrated armrest
GMC Jimmy glove box door or just the GMC emblem
GMC Jimmy center console lid emblem
Jimmy/Blazer rear seat armrest assemblies with metal bracket and ash trays
Complete seat of rear seat belts in black or parchment



When I make a for sale thread for the parts I pull from my Jimmy (mostly blazer parts from a blazer tub) I will link it here. When ready, I will be willing to trade for any of the parts on this list.

You might be better off having an administrator move this to the blazer section. Here is some taillight patch panels I have right now have another one I'm cutting up but that one might not happen for a couple of months. May have a set of rear seat belts but the lengths may be off an inch or two. I have the GMC console emblem also.

I have a good GMC tailgate correct for 72 here in ABQ for sale or possible trade (need solid OEM inner fenders), GMC Custom GB door (what color you need?), NOS tail light bezels. LMK by PM if interested. Have unused, new black repro arm rests for 72 doors also. Pete

I do have a GMC console emblem 30 plus shipping will get you a picture tomorrow. Here is the tail light area from the other blazer but it will be at least 3 weeks until I can cut it off unless you find one before 45 plus shipping. I can also cut to size if you let me know what you need.

I should have all this stuff below but I'm in Wichita Kansas. I'm gone till Friday. If your interested I can get pics of what I have and post back then. The hood won't be a viable shipping item but everything else is small.
72 GMC front grille fender surround trim
72 GMC front grille center support bracket (from radiator support to grille)
72 GMC front fender to grill brackets (both sides)
72 GMC front headlight trim rings (both sides) Maybe
1x GMC front headlight stainless ring (small one that goes around headlamp itself)
72 GMC hood (believe chevy works here too minus the holes), ideally with GMC emblem still in place.

I've got a GMC hood and the letters. The letters are off but can go with it. I can get pics later if interested.

I think I have another set of NOS reverse lenses and tail light trim. I also have a really nice GMC tailgate band in wood grain if needed? It was a new takeoff from about 1975-76 if I recall-not NOS but really really close to it!

Here's one headlight trim piece that was rechromed...very nice piece $30.
I'll dig out the grill braces tomorrow... $15 for it. We can combine shipping on what ever you need. I charge what they charge me and I get boxes for free. Let me know.

The only patch that I'm still in dire need of is the windshield frame, which is for the convertible top. Unfortunately a pickup frame would not do me any good in this case. I appreciate the inquiry!

Windshield frame, It has been grafted at one point in it's life. $150 plus shipping (Do you have a Fastenal store close by? It may be cheaper that way)
