Re: Boss 338 Chrome Wheels Shortage

I had the same problem in 2011 when I purchased mine. I ended up buying the gray centers and shipping them to CA to be chromed. Doesn't sound like their customer service has changed. Great wheel though. Good luck.

Look in to blems. I bought a pair and the blem was a slight gold discoloration inside the lug nut holes. Have you checked with TNT? He's a vendor here.

6 months! I'd have been a long gone customer 3 months ago, there are better quality and price point options out there then the Boss Wheels. Just my $.02

To be honest, just about anyone else, I've yet to see a Boss Rim with decent chrome work, but that's just me maybe every set I've come across have been duds.

Re: Boss 338 Chrome Wheels Shortage

If I was going to buy chrome wheels of the quality of the Boss, I'd spend way less and buy the Ridler 695, to be honest the Chrome is as good or better imo.

Edit: now that I look it appears the Boss and Ridler wheels in the USA are about the same in price.

American racing is another option.

Re: Boss 338 Chrome Wheels Shortage

Here is a screen shot with TNTs info. Boss wheels are made in the USA. Their 338s in chrome are much better quality than the grey center. The castings on grey center wheels can be rough at times.
