1969 Blazer 4x4 project
Been fighting with my android that doesn't want to upload to the forum and mac that seems to hate me since i don't have a iphone but here goes nothing... again
1969 Blazer supposedly a Texas truck i will guess it was a at one time but it sure saw some salt from the body rust after blasting. Was a 350 350 205 now to be a Ramjet 350 700r4 205 On to the pictures I'll add more tomorrow if this works , That was December 10 th if i recall. Mike |

Re: 1969 Blazer 4x4 project
Looks like you made it to the best forums around and welcome. Good start, and what I wouldn't give for a lift, but for now a creeper works with a 4" lift on the truck
Mike careful with that trouble light, I have read of them causing fires

Yeah they are junk thanks for thr concern, burnt forearms to prove it. I use it when the batteries die on my snap on light. It at least has a led bulb in it now.
More progress pics tonight. It's actually coming back together fairly well. Mike |

Re: 1969 Blazer 4x4 project
Thanks to some ideas from 29od1's guide on the 08 up SUV seats I decided to take it a little farther 6 way power drivers seat using power tracks from a 2007 Grand Prix took some work but results were good. Interior all coated in Lizard skin sound and heat coatings.

Re: 1969 Blazer 4x4 project
The frame was next... What a nightmare... previous accident damage and BRUTAL repair welidng the steering box to the frame and about 20 lbs of random metal in the drivers rail to supposedly reinforce it. Found a donor 6cyl clip ( well actually came with the truck i wont take too much credit here ) Used some of it to repair both front rails and Diamond plated inside the rail to reinforce.

Re: 1969 Blazer 4x4 project
Sure i'd take a gander if you don't mind. I had a set laying around but they got into the front driveshaft which is another challenge with the 700r4 and not using the spacer.
Thanks Mike |

Wow another great build. Welcome from another Canuck. I'm about 5 hours west of Ottawa in Waterloo region. You aren't wasting any time there. Great progress.

Here's what I have the blazer had a 350-205 setup. I don't know if they will work with the 700r4 setup.

Re: 1969 Blazer 4x4 project
Just need a spacer to bolt up the 700r4 in place of the TH350.

She was at the body shop for a few months 😆 but it's back and reconstruction beings between snow shifts. I'm happy with the work lines are straight doors close like a new car . Back cherry blend made in house to not be too too blingy some more pics to follow.
