Plenum Valve Pivot Mount
Not really sure what to call it. Under the cowel there is the plastic pivot point that the end of the cold air plenum valve fits into. Mine was leaking so I took it apart, it seemed like it might be a little brittle, but I siliconed it up and reinstalled it. I decided to give it just a little extra snug when, snap, it broke. I gooped it up pretty good with silicone so it shouldn't leak any longer, I hope, but I'd like to find a replacement, does anyone sell these? Thanks!

Is the pivot point inside the cowl in this picture the one you are referring to? If so I'm not sure if it is reproduced or not. Maybe one could be made from a piece of plastic or phenolic board. If that isn't what you are referring to a picture would be nice.... LockDoc

Re: Plenum Valve Pivot Mount
Yep, that white nylon piece just left of the spring. For now it is just siliconed up real good hoping that it will stop the leak right onto my new vintage air blower motor.
