Aftermarket A/C-heater ? Help ASAP - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm getting ready to install the heater hoses and not sure where to install the electronic heater valve. System is classic auto air and the motor is an Ls1. Water pump has 3/4 and 5/8 connections. The evaporator connections are both 5/8. Does it matter what hose I connect the valve to on the evaporator? The directions are a little vague. I'm assuming the 5/8 connection on the water pump would go to the heater valve. just not sure if it matters what connection I hook the valve to on the evaporator.

You have it right on the heater part. The hose from the receiver/drier goes to the expantion valve & then goes into the evap. It generally is a smaller fitting. The other end of the evap. goes to the comp.

The receiver/drier is part of the A/C And not the heater right. Does it not matter what heater hose I use going into the unit? They are not marked supply or return.

Doesn't matter what line you install it in. All you want is the water flow to be turned off to the heater when the switch activates.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
