New Silverado owner here from Razorback country

Here's my 84 that just came back to life a few weeks ago, poured about a half cup of gas in the carb, held the key for about 10 seconds and it started right up after sitting for 9 YEARS! I quit driving it when the gas got outrageous because it gets about 8-10 MPG but i'll be starting a rebuild late this summer. I'm accumulating parts in the meantime and plan on an LS conversion. Right now it's got a .60 over 350 270/470 comp cam and 2.02 ported heads. I painted it and built the motor almost 20 years ago. It's the first vehicle my wife and I bought together in 1993 for $3700
