Rockwell T-221?

What can you guys tell me about my transfer case? It's a Rockwell T-221. I was under the assumption that I had a np 205, but when I actually looked at it, I realized it was a rockwell. I know nothing about the rockwells, and I've had a hard time finding any info on them. So anything you can tell me would be really appeciated. Thanks.

By the way, could I make it into a twin stick?

It has a 1.94 low range, is as tough as he!!, and is getting hard to find parts for. The output shaft arrangement is considered by some to be superior to the 205, and you can fit PTO to it.

I don't know whether they could be so converted or not.

alot of ppl swap it out for a np205. it's big, cast iron, gear drive, i think equal in strength. i plan on keeping mine. make sure to check the fluid level in it.

the outputs are lower down than the np205, but the case itself doesnt hang any lower, which might make a difference when lifting the truck.

Exclamation Rockwell to SM420 Sleeve

Hi All,

I'm looking for a replacement sleeve that goes between my Rockwell T-221 and SM420. I believe this sleeve is 6" in length vs. the 4.5" sleeve used on the SM465.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Bryan
