1966 c10 power steering gear box

any suggestions when upgrading from manual to power steering?

My suggestion would be to purchase CapnFabs power steering box adapter plate, his info is here:

Buy a late 60's, early 70's power steering box.

A collapsible shaft from a 67 also fits as a direct swap over into your column but good luck finding one of them. Some swap the column from a van as the key is still in the dash and not in the column. Don't know what years. At the very least you will need to cut your shaft and put in some kind of universal or rag joint to hook up to the box.

Disregard the bit about cutting the shaft as I was think of a different vehicle. It would still be desirable to get a collapsible column done at the same time though.

Ok. Only issue is i have no steering column since im building truck from scratch. Any suggestions?
