LMC tailgate stainless link arms
Anybody ever use these? The only place I have found them is Mar-k and LMC. The ones from LMC are about half the cost. Has anyone had any experience with the ones from LMC? I know the mar-k parts will be of good quality, just not sure if it's worth sacrificing quality to save a few bucks on the LMC ones!

I would get the ones from mar-k. The mar-k ones are also made in Oklahoma City.

Re: LMC tailgate stainless link arms
I'm leaning that way, just wanted to see if the LMC ones were worth saving about $60 lol

Re: LMC tailgate stainless link arms
I recently ordered some stuff from Orange County Truck Shop. They also have the lower priced arms. I went ahead and bought some. Look really nice! I won't be able to install them for a week or two. Will post back on fit and function.

Re: LMC tailgate stainless link arms
My truck has a brand new repop imported tailgate. The previous owner installed it and had it painted. The part has several issues. The sides are bowed in about 1/4". The spot welds along the bottom are separated for about 16", and the whole gate is twisted. I discovered Mar-k was manufacturing new tailgates and stainless steel straps and hardware right here in the US. I ordered a new gate and hardware which is top quality.
If you value having a source like Mar-K that does it right, send them some business. Russ

Re: LMC tailgate stainless link arms
I will probably end up going with mar k. At the moment i decided to stop, put my money into some more important stjff. I have a really nice pair of originals i will paint and put on until i grt the rest of the truck done. Just spent all my extra cash on pieces for my exhaust system
