Cool C50 shortbed In Atlanta

I've never seen one like this before. It is a C50 converted to a SWB pickup.

And here is a "500 mile original" for you purists. You have to read the ad - it has the rare "beer spreader"

Really like the looks of the first one, too bad it's not 4wd (from what I can see). And the second... hmmm, I wonder if the frame has been cut??

Wasn't a dual-pot master cylinder required by ''67?

From what I've seen, this appears to have only been mandated for Auto's and light trucks. The single line masters were used on the medium duty's until at least 1969, or maybe even 1972.

Re: Cool C50 shortbed In Atlanta

Looks like a mix of a heavier chassis (or at least axles) and lighter cab (or at least fenders). It's a longbed, just looks short on a bigger truck. Shame about the Line-X. While these conversions make for a totally tough and cool looking pickup, in reality not so nice to drive too awful much once the novelty wears off. Probably why it's for sale before it's done and willing to trade for another truck.
