Can you post the information off of the block pad, (right front of engine, probably under your alternator)?

Hello,
You really need to get the block casting number to know what you really have in the truck. Also, if you take the valve cover off of one of the heads and get the head casting number it will help discern what horsepower the motor is. It is probably not a 325 horse motor but if you can get the casting number off the block and the heads you can get a pretty good idea of what you have. Post the numbers on this post and someone will help you figure it out. I have found that this board is a good place to find answers to our truck and motor questions as there are some very knowledgeable members. Ernie
