Weather Stripping
I put new rubber seals around my 81 Gmc pick up and the door doesn,t close tightly unless I really force it.Can I adjust the door?

You can move the stricker bolt outwards slightly. But the door will be slightly harder to close due to the new door stripping.

In time the weather stripping will soften up. Don't worry it will take a couple of weeks at least. When we re-did the Burb we had a hard time getting the doors tro close. My Girlfriend was aways having to get me to slam the door.
How have you been keeping ? If you know of anyone with a 67-91 4x4 1/2 or 3/4 ton in restoreable/driveable shape could you let me know thru a PM Thanks.
