Tightening Throttle Cable
I've got a 77 Silverado with a 350 and the gas pedal has quite a bit of play in it, the cable seems to have a lot of slack and the truck doesn't accelerate the way I'd like it to or need it too. How can I tighten the cable?

Re: Tightening Throttle Cable
Bend the top of the throttle pedal arm.

Re: Tightening Throttle Cable
You can buy a new throttle cable cheap, whether it's stock ~$25 or a universal like a Lokar ~$45+. I'd strongly recommend getting a new one. If yours is showing signs of wear you are probably on borrowed time.
