Re: Vintage Wood Steering Wheel

I'd make an offer but you didn't say my post was funny . Or was that a play on "didn't get it"? I like the wheel. What part of the state are you in?

SKT, good one! You can blame Blue/72 for starting all this. Who knows, maybe even someone will buy this steering wheel. I think I'm out of puns.

Re: Vintage Wood Steering Wheel

How does that fit on a factory 67 - 68 set up? It does not look like it will properly fit...?

I have no idea to be honest. I'm assuming any wheel will fit with the correct install kit.

Is it still a-"round"? Or has it been "turned" loose?

Re: Vintage Wood Steering Wheel

I just installed one of these on my truck yesterday. It is a grant wheel but this one was made in the USA unlike the foreign stuff they turn out today. Meaning this one has better wood, better fitment of the wood and thicker steel.

Pep boys has the install kits in stock for $25 and the chrome horn button is also in stock for $5. The install kit I used on my 71 was #3163 but I think 67-69 uses a different kit.

Is that a Grant 967 by chance? Diameter and dish measurements, please.

Thanks, Loren
