Frame

Hi I have a frame for a 78 k20. The one crossmember has hole rotted through it. Otherwise it looks like it's in pretty good shape. I do want to use this frame. The crossmember is the riveted one on the rear of the frame. I do know where a k/10 frame is available. The question is can I use the k/10 crossmember on the 3/4 ton frame. I know 1 ton frames are different. But everything I've read 1/2 and 3/4 ton frames are basically the same. Please let me know. Thanks

Re: Frame

The crossmembers are the same between 1/2 and 3/4 ton. The rivet spacing may be different.
