Widening front fenders
Has anyone widened their front fenders on an AD truck?

Re: Widening front fenders
It works better to run the Camaro clip!

Re: Widening front fenders
I've been looking into a trailblazer frame swap.
They're just a little on the wide side. I already own/drive an 04 TB. I think I just about have my wife convinced of the swap. |

Re: Widening front fenders
Bbeep used big truck fenders on his Envoy swap after trying widened small truck ones. Also have to use the big truck hood. Not at computer so I can't find his build thread.

Re: Widening front fenders
I saw that like. It's a huge build book.
Anyway, he claims the big bolt fenders are longer. He still cut and modified them, which I'm trying to avoid. |

Re: Widening front fenders
The big truck fenders and hood are slightly longer maybe two inches but I'd have to compare fenders side by side. You would also have to use the big truck grill. Besides being a couple of inches wider in the fenders the big truck has a better line as far as the hood goes. They also have a better looking wheel opening that will look good with big rims if you plan to run them.

Re: Widening front fenders
I seem to remember one of Bbeeps issues was with the smaller truck wheel opening and conflict with the tire when turning. The larger truck wheel opening helped solve that.

Re: Widening front fenders
Small truck fender is beat up but that's the way i got it. for comparison
Wheel opening in big truck fender is cut more in a circle plus the top of the fender is a couple of inches higher Small truck fender with frenched headlight that might throw things off when comparing

Thats exactly what I'm looking for, Thanks.
