YIPEE! Finally fixed my loose column!
Yuuup, I tore into is yesterday...all in all, it was quite simple, of course, I only tightened the lower two Torx bolts...but I guess the top two weren't loose, because it's tight as a MOFO now.

not quite as hard as one would think, is it? i kept putting it off, adn putting it off, until mine finally came all the way apart. not only did all 4 of the bolts come loose, they came all the way out. i was going around a turn, and my ignition cut off. then the colum locked. luckily i wasnt headed for anything, so i stopped and worked it loose again to make it the last mile home. talk about something that could've been really bad news!
