Both of my doors are aftermarket and i am having an issue with the striker plate bolts hitting the door. I noticed the inside of the doors are different where the latch is located. Can someone post pics of what their passenger side door looks like where the latch bolts. Here is mine.

Yeah your drivers door looks right, the passenger door latch section looks like it's raised way too much.

Here's a pic of my 71 factory passenger door.

Thanks for the pic. I think im just going to countersink the holes in the striker plates and use flat head bolts. Wish i would have realized this before paint.

Yes i had both of my striker plates counter sunk so they would look the same. Ill post a pic tomorrow. I sent mine to a forum member that has a machine shop. I tried it myself but the metal is extremely hard.
