WTB: 67 or 68 Front Clip
Hey all,
I picked up another 68 C10 a month ago and the PO swapped the front end for a 69 clip. I am wanting to build this truck back as a slant nose, so I am looking for parts. The main thing is the hood. I would prefer to find an entire clip, but I am mildly comfortable with going aftermarket on everything but the hood. If anyone in the tristate region (NC/SC/VA) has a line on one, please let me know. Thanks guys |

You do know the hood will not work with the 69 fenders and grill right ?

Re: WTB: 67 or 68 Front Clip
Yes, I am aware of that. That is why I said I would get aftermarket fenders if I have to. From all the research I have done, it seems that the one piece that absolutely never fits aftermarket, is the hood. Unless they have retooled the stamping and i'm unaware. When I was living in AZ, this was too easy, just go to the salvage yard and get what you need. Here in NC, not so easy, everything is rusted to pieces, if you can even find it. Thanks

I hear you. I am looking for the hood too here in Florida. Found a nice looking one on CL and the fella says it is REAL solid. 2 hour drive and when I pull up I can see the hood is up on the truck and I can see right thru it. Solid except for all the rust holes.

Noneck, thanks for the link. That is a great deal, unfortunately it is about 600 miles away. I am on the coast of NC.
